TEAM POKER
- First session of Team Poker starts Monday February 6, 2012. Team Poker will run for 12 weeks, ending April 23, 2012.
- Team Poker will be played on Monday Nights.
- Table placement will be up at 6:25 PM.
- Players should find table and pick their seat before 6:30 PM.
- Games will start promptly at 6:30 PM.
- Rules for game will be: Roberts Rules of Poker for Texas Hold'em & OneMor's House Rules.
- Team Poker is considered a Specialty Game.
- Each player will receive an attendance point for playing.
- Each team will consist of 2 permanent players.
- Each team is allowed 1 permanent replacement per session.
- No switching of permanent players from one team to another during the same session.
- Each team is allowed unlimited substitutions per session as long as at least one permanent player is in attendance.
- Any player who is a designated substitute will agree to share their contact information with all teams.
- Any Substitute Player who has not been asked to sub may still play the game for an attendance point and sub points.
- Substitute Players are not bound to any team and are allowed to sub for any team they choose; however, once a Substitute has promised to sub for a team, they shall not be allowed to change to a different team unless the original team they promised to sub for releases them from their obligation. In the event there are problems created along this line, the Substitute Player may be barred from subbing for the rest of the session.
- Starting stack for Team Poker is 8,000.
- Blinds are 20 minutes long.
- Breaks are after 50/100, 400/800, and 4,000/8,000.
- Breaks will last about 10 minutes.
- Game or blind level starts when timer is started.
- Players are allowed to come in late as long as they arrive before the timer starts for 100/200 blinds.
- Late players will be chipped down 1,000 (25/25 blinds), 2,000 (25/50blinds), or 3,000 (50/100 blinds).
- Points for each team player are added together to create the team score.
- The team with the best score at the end of the session will be declared the wining team.
- The Substitute Player with the best personal score at the end of the session will win the Top Substitute Player Award.
- In case of a tie for 1st place, the tied teams and/or tied Subs will play one accelerated game to determine the winning team and/or Sub.
- Tie breaking game will be: tbd stack, tbd minute blinds, 2 decks with a designated dealer and a shuffler.
- Winning team will receive $300 total (2 - $150) to use towards casino buy-ins.
