Joe Baca has left us for his Heavenly home.  We all will miss seeing him at OneMor playing his J2 and rolling out his skateboard.  Joe was a great supporter of the reformation of Poker at OneMor.  Our thoughts and prayers are for his family to make it through this difficult time.  We love you, Joe.  You will always be present in our hearts.

Congratulations to Bruce Flanders, winner of Joe's pink scooter.

54 players made it to the game.  We raised $2,107 for Joe's family.  GREAT job everyone!

The service at Lady's Funeral Home, Amity House was a celebration of Joe's life with food, a slide show, and many speakers.  Nearly 150 people attended.  It was a true testament to the joy that Joe brought with him everywhere he went.  Follow this link to the Joe's Book of Memories.

54 players attended the Memorial Poker Tournament.  Tournament fees, Raffle, and Skateboard sales produced $2,107 for Joe's family. Joe's family brought pictures and a slide show.  A custom made light bottle was given to Everette from Joe. With the poker tournament, raffles, presentations, and his biological family, it was a great celebration of Joe's life.  Even though we miss Joe, his memories always leaves us smiling.  Follow this link for Pictures.

Memorial Charity Tournament

Register early and donate $20 or more by:

April 9 - 2,000 extra starting chips
April 14 - 1,000 extra starting chips
April 21 - 500 extra starting chips

Early registrations can be made during any scheduled game at OneMor.  If you need to make arrangements for a different time/place to early register and/or donate, contact Zeke Williams 704-713-3838, or Loni Sellers 704-788-9078.


Donations are as follows:

  • 4k starting stack for $20 donation.  Players have the opportunity to get a Bonus 2k chips for an additional $5 donation.
  • Unlimited second chance "re-buys" up to the first chip-up (after 50/100 blinds - must have 1,000 or less in chips). 6k chips for $30 donation, 4k chips for $20 donation or 2k chips for $10 donation.
  • Add-ons at end of first break (before 100/200 blinds), players may add-on to their stack 1 time.  6k chips for $30 donation, 4k chips for $20 donation, or 2k chips for $10 donation.

                   3rd set of blinds (500/1000 - 1000/2000) -  2/15 minute levels , BREAK-5 minutes,
                   4th set of blinds (2000/4000 - 4000/8000) -  2/15 minute level BREAK/Chip-up -5 minutes,
                   5th set of blinds (5,000/10,000 - up), Breaks as needed.
